Hey friends, miss me? Jordan back again with another post. In all honesty, I haven’t decided if I’ll make a full comeback to writing posts or not, but I can assure you that me and the MAC crew have some cool stuff planned for the future.
Anyway, let’s get into this review, or lack-there-of.
I love music. I love most types, except for a choice few. This album…. fell into one of those categories. I couldn’t listen to the entire thing. Now to say these guys aren’t talented would be a lie. I’m a sucker for acoustic guitar, and it was beautiful from what I could stand to listen to. The vocalist, though, was what got to me. Won’t say that he’s a bad singer, but the tone and lyrical style just drove me up the wall. I couldn’t do it. I gave this album probably 4 attempts to listen all the way through, and I failed every time.
Each attempt I started from the beginning of the album and tried to power through, but to no avail. Then I decided to try out of order. No luck.
Overall I can’t even give this album a rating. I respect the musical talent of the group, but it’s just not my style.
That’s it for now, be sure to check out Weekly Waves Vol. 17: Seattle Rocks on Spotify and Apple Music!
